First off, sorry about not having 25 posts yet =/
I am just really busy with work and what not.
I always look at the forums, just don't talk that much.
I am pretty new to this forum =)
Sorry!

I'm sellin a ninja 250, has 500 miles on it. My mom and step dad got the bike through a bank forcloser on a house. Theres no title and no key for it, my parents have contacted metro and the bank. Metro did a vin number check and gave us a print out that says it's not stolen and it's fully paid for, theres nothing against the title.
In order to get the title you'd have to go to the dmv and file something for a lost title, something like that. Best thing to do would be to come by and check it out, just needs a battery and a key and it should run. One dent in the gas tank from being hauled in the back of a truck, doesn't look like it's ever been laid down. Could use some work, come check it out. We also have a 4x8 tilt bed trailer we can throw in for 150-200$ more dollars with a spare tire. We are asking for about 800$ for the bike.
Heres some pictures, but the best thing would be for you to come check out the bike =)

I'm more interested in the trailer. Can we have pics of it?

Just out of curiosity, why dont you get the title yourself and then sell the bike? Also, can you sell the bike if you dont own it? Cause you cant give someone a bill of sale if you arent on the title. Im just wondering how that works.

+1!

I called the DMV people in Carson City, you cannot sell the bike without a title, and if you do the person who buys it won't be able to obtain a title, they cannot file for a "Lost title" since it's not in their name. Otherwise I'd be able to walk up to a random car/bike, look at the vin, file for a "Lost title" and BWASAM! Free car/bike. -Just thinking logically, and what you have sounds like it could be a deal, but just do it right, get a title, and save someone the hassle.

All irrelevant posts have been deleted and the thread is closed. If anyone is interested in the bike or trailer, PM the OP. As always, caveat emptor.
