Selling my project bike that I bought 3 1/2 years ago. I'll post the pics here at the top, but please read the entire ad - thanks Pics taken this afternoon. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A youtube video of it running.. yes its dark, but you can hear it.. it runs great and sounds excellant. I bought the bike wrecked on ebay in early 2006 for $2000 with the intent to make a track bike out of it. I had a serious accident on my FZ1 in August of 2006 and that kinda killed my motivation for it. After that, I had other bikes to ride, other hobbies, and well, I just never really worked on this even though I had spent a $hitload of money in parts to put it back together. And now, I havent rode anything since March, and before that was December. I've been riding and working on bikes for 29 years and just finaly realized that I dont enjoy it like I used to. In fact, I dont enjoy it at all anymore. I've already sold my KX250, and my ST1300 and VTX1800 are for sale as well. I've just put this VFR back together a few days ago so I can get it sold. Its a nice bike. It has a Penske rear shock, forks were rebuilt by Aftershox, Corbin carbon fiber seat, new pilot power tires, new Micron high mount exhaust, white faced gages, and silver paint. The paint isnt perfect but it looks great in my opinion. Lots of new parts, almost everything I've bought for it is listed further below. The bike has a California salvage title. It was not damaged bad at all, you can see the pics of how it was when I got it below. All of the plastics except for the rear fairing were missing, the forks were a little tweaked, the gas tank dented, tail light broken, and the speedometer glass was broken. Check out the pics and see. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a list of everything I bought for it. All dates are 2006. Other than that, I cant think of anything else that it needs. It starts up and runs perfect, shifts fine, sounds great. I need $2800 for it. Sorry, but I've got WAY more than that invested in it, and cant take any less. I think its a great deal for someone. Last edited by Mr Pheer; 10-27-2009 at 12:36 PM. | ||

Have you posted this on VFR World or VFR Discuss? If you posted it on one of those sites I'm pretty sure somebody would pick it up pretty quick...
