I spoke to Steve at Las Vegas Dyno Tech. He has agreed to Host the ARC Class on Sunday April 20th. As soon as Lee puts up a link on his site to sign up, I will post it.

In addition, we will be doing a MARS events the next night, Monday April 21st. Lee will be doing a live demo (45minute presentation), Steve will offer up some basic maintenance tips and $20.00 dyno pulls. We will have some prises and food as well. Stay tuned for more details.

MARS(Motorcycle Awareness and Rider Safety www.cycleawareness.org) Has been working very hard to get Lee Parks out to Vegas to do an Advanced Riders Clinic. If you don't know anything about Lee Parks ARC goto http://www.totalcontroltraining.net/index.html. This is the first time EVER that Lee is bringing his class to Las Vegas. If we get a strong turnout...he will come back.

I have personnally attending the Fasttrack Riders School, Pridmore Star school and Lee's ARC. All 3 were great, but I got more out of Lee's class than any other. Now, this is not a track day school. It is all done at parking lot speeds. You get instant feedback everytime you go through the range. Click on the link to get more info.

Why am I pushing this class so hard. For one, anything that makes you a better rider, makes you a safer more likely to live rider. That is what MARS is all about. Secondly, Lee is helping MARS raise money, by donating his time and some cool prises for a great cause.

I have to also thank Steve from Las Vegas Dyno Tech. He is donating his facility for the class and the MARS event the following evening. He is a small shop owner who is giving big
to help us and the cause out. A big thumbs up Steve www.lasvegasdyno.com I will post up more info about the Monday night event in a day or so.

Here is all the class info:

WERE: Las Vegas Dyno Tech - 6947 Speedway Blvd. Ste S101 - Las Vegas, NV 89115

WHEN: Sunday April 20th 8:00am to 6:00pm

COST: $295.00 (worth much more)

Sign up link: http://www.leeparksdesign.com/eshopp...s_NV_42008.htm

We have a MARS safety fair the following evening Monday April 21st also at LV Dyno Tech. I still have some details to work out. I will post more details later.

Here is a behind the scenes video from the class:

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/GNGDprOpIQg&hl=en"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/GNGDprOpIQg&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

link if embed doesn't work

We need more people to sign up. Come on, who else is gonna do this?

I got to sit in on all of the class sessions and I'm still gonna take the full course.

I've gotta see what's up with my second gear repair. I definitely need it for this class.

Just sell yourself on the strip. It shouldn't take more than a half a dozen "Jobs" to raise the funds.

BTW...How do you look in heals?

Lee is here right now (not for long). We are marking off the range this morning then he has to head back to Cali.

I really hope we get some last minute sign ups.

I got water, gatorade and sunchips for snacks on Sunday. This is on top of the food that Tom is bringing. If you are doing the class make sure to bring some cash. We have to kick down a few bucks to Tom for the Lunch he made for all of us.

P.S. These sammiches will be a lot better than the ones we had in Phoenix! (You had to be there)

The class today was awesome! I really feel I made some huge improvements. I will post up some video later.

Marcus definitely gets biggest balls of the day. He got within inches of getting a knee down. I'll let him tell you the story from there.

Congrats to 98lb Tara who DID get a knee down. Great Job! We also had a guy named Brian who drove in from Cali on his retro Triumph. He has only been riding for 9 months. The only thing that kept him from getting a knee down was...well...hard parts. He has several parts on his bike that look like someone took a grinder to them.

More later

Just a quick reminder, the event is tonight starting at 5:30pm. Presentations start at 7ish. Raffle prises are given away after the presentations.

We will have Burger and hot dogs tonight, so come hungry!

Remember, all the money raised tonight goes to support MARS. So, we hope to see as many of you as possible to support this great cause.
