This should be a great event. MARS is setting up a free suspension check booth. We will check static sag, pre-load and rebound dampening. We are actually going to do mini classes to show you how to check/adjust your own bike.

Lots of other great stuff going on...check out the flyer. This should be a great event.

Anyone who took Lee Parks class should be in the booth with us helping with suspensions. Everyone else should be riding. Remember, the ride is FREE! We need a strong turn out...with vests!

I'll be there to get mine checked and do the ride. How early should I get there? This will be my first "run" and I don't know how long registration and getting checked will take.

I can't ride. Both my bikes will still be at race tech. I will stay at the booth during the ride itself.

If you are working the booth, I would say to arrive between 9:00 am and 9:30 am. The setup is pretty simple. Hang the banner and put out cards/info.

I would think you could still all do the ride as well. It is only 35 miles.

I have 100 MARS flyers and the Banner I am bringing with me. Does anyone have a free standing wheel chock?

Don't forget I need a minimum of 2 extra peeps to help out in the booth. Even if you don't know suspension setups, you will by the end of the day

Good seeing everyone this morning. Funny how 99% of the sportbikes there were with SCS. Hope the ride was cool, had some other stuff to take care of. Great info on the suspensions Pat, I'll have to remember all that when I get my sportbike so I can adjust it correctly.

The ride went fine, although a to that dude in the red pickup trying to pass me in my lane as I was turning into the park area. And a big thanks to HD for their support and free food and drinks after. It was weird though that no other sportbike groups showed up that I saw. Thanks to all who did.

I did expect to see more sportbikes, although I knew it would be mostly HD's. Oh well, it will give MARS and SCS a better chance to get the help of HD when the time comes. Glad to hear everything went well!!

Although we could only make the end, it was so great to be around everyone again! I'm paying for it now, but it was SOOO well worth it!!!! Pat's speech at the end about our beloved Gleno and what MARS is all about was outstanding. I saw so many heads in the crowd nodding in agreement with what you were saying. You did a great job Pat!
