I am headed out to REP. SCS at the speedway again. Hopefully the temp. drops down quick and I will break 13 sec.

Well if ya'll get the chance head on out. I was gonna run Dave's Busa but the chain is going ( don't want to try to run 9 sec. with a bad chain!!!)

Well I am headed out so wish me luck.

Good luck PK! Let me know when you get a chance to take the Busa out. Have you tried launching one yet?

Yeah I played with Dave's. I broke loose at 6500, felt good at 4500, but that was on the street not the track. Kokonut is out here with me now, we are waiting to get in.

Cool... you've gotta slip the clutch quite a bit more than the VTX or you simply won't hook up. Have fun and post up your results!

Funny enough, the only loss I had last night was to Kokonut. Ran 13.4's down to 13.2. Reaction times are getting solid and got down to a 1.8 60' time, so we are improving.

I am thinking about doing the Bracket Racing next season.

I also kicked the living crap out of a souped up mustang! The guy thought he was gonna smoke me with his racing cam, tires and everything.
He ran a 15.694 to my 13.223

I average around 96 to 98 MPH. It really is all about the launch, I am smoking cars that are trapping 110 to 120 MPH simply because they can't launch.

We all used to go to Motorcycle Mayhem every weekend, and the last time I went I was able to beat most 600's, while not amazing for a 1000, having a combined total weight of 750lbs and only 130hp to the wheel, but was satisfying for me. I even beat a busa (I don't care if he couldn't hook up). Oh, and beating Julian and his 1200 Bandit like a rented mule was great.
