Or did they shorten it to 1000' like NHRA?

Either weekend I might be in for this.

It's been years since running out there, what's the gear requirements? I know helmet (DOT) and boots, but I don't know if I should wear my full leathers.

I know what info is on the slip, somewhere I have a folder with like 100 timeslips in it.

I was just wondering if they kept it at 1/4mi now that NHRA only runs 1000'.

Are there any special requirements if you're gonna just watch the races?

Insurance, lic., etc...?

Looks like I'm going to miss a great turnout. Busy all weekend, including Friday night doing the MSF BRC.

No... they don't check spectators.

But you do have all of that, right?

What? You talk smack to get me out there, and now you're bailing?

But if you are doing the MSF BRC you get an excused absence.

I am real tempted to bring the Lexus out and see what she'll do. But I think I'll do that another time, I'll bring the bike out on the 12th.

Sorry man, but on the bright side, there should be another 12 licensed motorcyclist out on the streets. I hope

I always mention Midnite Mahem and the Drag Strip during the class. It's a great way to introduce speed in a controlled environment.

I really wanted to race againt the FZ1 too.

I am out. I didn't get the chance to get the bike out and run the old gas out of it. Plus, after 3 days of washing/claying/waxing the truck, my whole body is tired & sore. If I do come out, I will be bringing the Lexus. But chances are slim.
