I Ride: GSXR-750
INFO - June 27th start at 9:30am At LV DYNO TECH

LV DYNO TECH - MAP Google Maps

Once again, it’s time for another SCS Tech Daze!

We are requesting a $20 donation to cover the cost of breakfast (OJ, Donuts, coffee, lunch, beverages, and maintenance incidentals.)
(brake kleen, lubricants, etc…).

If you would like to bring your bike for work, please respond to this thread. This is a learning experience, not a 20 dollar oil change. We are going to show you how YOU can do simple basic maintenance on YOUR bike. Also, if you would like to just attend and get some valuable maintenance tips without working on your ride, post to this thread as well. We need an idea of how many people will be attending in order to provide adequate accommodations.

I’ll update this post as responses are received.

This is a back to basics day so we will be concentrating on the basics.

Jobs we will be doing:

Oil - Replace
Brake fluids - bleed and replace pads
Radiator fluid - flush and replace fluid
Chain - cleaning and lubing and replacing
Tires - Pressure cold and warm and how to correctly fill and when to fill.
Lever cable maint - lubing, cleaning, checking.
Air Filter - clean/replace

Freaking Hilarious!

Figures you woud do this on the weekend I have to teach.

As far as cleaning the chain, I use to clean it with a nylon brush with Kerosene. Now I just use the Maxima Chain Cleaner, simply spray it on and rinse it off with water. Looks like it's brand new. Can't believe I wasted so much time doing it the other way for so long.

You don't need to go see the ocean again. I was just there today. It is still blue and wet.

Out. I don't feel good. I slept for almost 14 hours, thinking that it would make me feel better. I may stop by later if I do feel better.

Any of you guys a chiropractor??? I think I'd feel better if my neck and back didn't hurt so bad. :(
