Hi everyone
I recently moved from Minnesota and am looking for a cool, safe club to join and after reading up the stuff on your page this one seemed one of the best and with most information. I have been riding sportbikes for 7 years and am pretty experienced riders. I have also been a staff member of Central Roadracing Association for 3-4 years (www.cra-mn.org) I worked as a corner worker, flagger, comm-person, and start/finish so if you know any race clubs that need help I'm up for it. How do i join your club and go ride along? Besides joining the site, whats's next? Thanks

Welcome to the site, spleecho! I'm glad you found your way here.

Basically, SCS prospects are chosen from people who have expressed interest in joining the club and who have demonstrated a mindset consistent with our organization. Check out our monthly meetings, come out on a group ride, attend one of our Two Wheel Tuesday gettogethers...let us get to know you, and as well, you can decide whether or not SCS is right for you.

In regards to the racing organizations, the Race-Track-Drag forum will occassionally have posts requesting corner workers, etc...

Again, welcome to the site and we look forward to meeting you.

There are always cops around there, but they're not always inside the scenic loop. Normal disclaimers apply, but the best bet is to stop at the overlook about 2 miles west of the Red Rock entrance to get a "ranger report" from other riders before you decide to do the "loop". If there's no one at the overlook, then you best take a relaxed recon trip around the loop before you up your pace.

Welcome! *
I'm sure you'll stumble across it while exploring the board, but there's a Two Wheel Tuesday posted for this tuesday at 7pm @ Moose's Beach House (I posted a map).
We'd love to meet you, if you want to stop by and get some grub. *
This club is very special...

Upcoming Two Wheel Tuesday:

http://www.scsportbikes.com/index.ph...9&topic=1844.0

The "Group Rides (In and Out of Town)" forum is where you find the, umm, group rides. It's under the 'group rides/event/meeting' forum group.

Hey, thanks for all the welcomes, looking forward to hang out with some people that actually go ride their bikes, I lived in cooooold Minnesota and you get some 3 months a year of riding so since I moved here (mid Dec) I'm out on the bike daily, finding some new roads to drive on (1500 miles in a month, can't complain)
Alrite, see you all tuesday and I'll remember about those monthly meetings, and still if you know of any race clubs needing help with race-control and corner workers let me know.
Thanks
Bojan

Bandits are really good streetfighters … it doesn’t have the top speed of a sportbike… but top speed only requires the money that translates into HP, a big ego and little skills…
