We will be holding another bike prep night at my house next Thursday for those entering the Cal-Sportbike TrackXperience on 4/29-30 @ SMMR/Pahrump. Say around 5PM to whenever.

If it's your first trackday and wondering how to prep your bike we can help. Or if you need to do some minor work on your bike like changing the oil or installing new brake pads just bring the stuff and we will get'r done. You can leave your bike at the house until the event, just make sure you find a ride home . . .

If you guys will please RSVP on this topic, gixxergirl will know how much grub and goodies to cook. That said, if you don't need to prep your bike, at least come by for some good times and some grub.

PM me and I'll send you the address and gate code.

Damn that's early. I'm not doing the trackday, but I can help prep or just to help any Pahrump newbies with pointers. Anyway, PM me your gate code and I'll try to be there as soon as able.

I have base-line settings for most bikes from SportRider magazine. We could certainly set your bike with those setting to begin with. I must admit that I am not much of a suspension guru but maybe someone else is. See you there.

I'll be there.

Just remember though folks (friendly reminder) that if you look up Gixxerguy's address on Mapquest, it will have you go in the back way and there IS NO GATE CODE BOX!!!! You'd have to just sit there and wait for someone else (that actually lives in there) to go in that has a clicker to open the gate. I think you have to go in off Commerce ( ) to be able to use a gate box code to get in.

Just trying to help everyone out.

Don't forget about this thursday everyone! P.M me for the Gate code, It has changed since the last time so if you have that one it is no longer good!

Remember for those who were here last and for the new guys stopping buy you'll need to come in on the commerce side!

Repair like the Buell. I low-sided in turn 4. Busted subframe, engine case cover, upper plastics, tail plastics, Fairing Stay, instrument cluster, GP Tech clutch lever, GP Tech Brake adjuster.

I was turning consistant 1:53's up until I got on the gas too soon and too hard in 4. I jammed my index finger and will probably loose my finger nail, other then that I am good to go. I have just two weeks before Button Willow so I need to get busy getting my bike back togerther. If anyone knows of gixxer 750 being parted out, please PM me.

Sounds like you already have one. J/K.

Dood....glad YOU are alright. THAT'S most important. We can always replace parts.....but there's only one you.

Turn 4 almost bit me once as well. It was more of a violent highside though. Coming out, I got on the gas too hard/fast, and the rear snapped around, then back, and had my ass 2 feet off the seat, and I was staring at the front wheel. I managed to hold on to the clips, and return to the seat with a mighty whack to the nutz on the tank. I sat out a few laps after that.

All our best bro. If there's ANYTHING I can do to help......lemme know. 235-1862.

man, sorry about your get-off. i think ali still has his 750 for sale...you could always keep yours for spares and buy his.

maybe the prospect formerly known as jwd has a line on a parts bike?

Thank you for all the support guys, it really is great. After work today, I tore into the bike and it actually doesn't look that bad. I have a welder at work who is good with aluminum and he thinks he can fix the subframe since it broke and didn't bend. I already have spare race plastics so all I need to order is a new fairing stay, frame sliders, clutch lever, wind screen, grips, starter cover and a gas tank if I can find one cheap. Mine is bent to hell but is not leaking so I may just keep it. Tomorrow I will verify that the forks are not bent, which I don't think they are and I should be all set.

Mental note to self: don't try to get up until you stop sliding! (I took an extra tumble because I tried to get up too soon. I have heard other riders say that but now I have first hand experience)
