I've been getting a lot of questions on the details of the upcoming scavenger hunt. Just wanted to post up a little more detail as to what will be going on that day.

You do not need to be there by 8am if you pre-register, plus you'll save $5.00. You can pick up your packet of stuff all ready to go at the Will Call Table. Just like a concert or sumthin...

You are free to register as late as you want. 8am is just the start of registration, you could register at noon if that works for you. As long as you are back by 2pm, its entirely up to you.

Here's a couple items from previous scavvys

a pic of elvis
a rubber ducky - not yellow
a free card for a strip club from one of the doods on the strip
a business card from cycle shop
a players club card from any casino

Everything that needs to be collected this year will fit flat into the ziplock bag that you are given with the list when you get your registration packet on Saturday. No worries about where to carry the stuff.

We are asking that everyone be back by 2pm. That's when the food will start. Then about 2:30 we are doing a "slow bike" contest winner gets $50.00 and while that is going on, we will be drawing the tix for the raffle.


There are a total of 35 items on the list with ticket values between 1-5 tix. With these 35 items there is a potential of getting a total of 50 raffle tix. With that many tix the potential to win multiple prizes is pretty big.


We will be doing a 50/50 drawing for the candlelighters. The tix for that are $5.00 ea. The winner gets half the cash and Candlelighters get the other half. Last year the pot was over $300

So do we need to bring out tank bags or saddle bags for the ride then this year or is the plastic baggie REALLY going to fit it ALL?


Players club cards? REALLY I GOT ONE ALREADY? If an item like this appears on the list do we have to have it 'purchased' or 'signed up for' the day ofthe scavy w/ some sort of proof or can we rip one outta our wallet?

How come when i look at the Upcoming Events on the list of the calendar, i only see the Dessert Contest and not the SCS Scavenger Hunt

If you feel better bringing a tank bag, or saddle bag that's fine, but everything on the list will fit into the gallon size zip lock bag you will be given when you register. As for your possible score.... You may wanna bring a tank bag or saddle bag to take home your prizes


You are free to get any item on the list from any source you can,unless otherwise specified on the list.
Nothing has to be dated on the day of the scavvy. If a players club card was actually on the list you would be able to use any card that you happen to have available to you. You do not need to go sign up for one on that day. If you have an old players club card from the Hacienda, or castaways or someplace like that... that will work just as well.
