Every Sunday evening at around 7:30-8pm, Little E and I (or just me) play the par 3 golf course in Northtown. (Cheyenne and 5th) For all of you regular golfers, this is a great way to work on the short irons. And if you've never played a round of golf in your life, this is the perfect course to learn on. The golfing atmosphere there is extremely casual and greens fees are around $10.

I'm going to make this a weekly event, so post up in this thread and I'll make sure I schedule enough tee times for that week. This initial foursome will be under "Eric" and I will post the additional foursomes as required. This is a great time to get out of the house and unwind before the start of the work week. Everybody is welcome, so come on out and swing the sticks with SCS!

Location of NLV Golf Course:

North Las Vegas Par 3 Golf Course

I'm gonna see if Les wants to go. When we went to Aliente course, her short game was great. And my finger shouldn't get in the way with the short irons. Of course I'll have to get her some clubs.

I'm going to put together a spare set of clubs in the next few weeks from some old ones I've got. I'll try to get Joyce out as well.

Im gonna go to the Goodwill I got mine at and see what they have for Les. Most are old and crappy, but mine were brand new. And the clubs are a steal at $1ea.

Coolio. As long as they aren't too beat up and the grips are decent I don't think Les will care.

#9 is 176 or so... I just bring my irons. Most holes are from 110-120 yds with a few longer/shorter ones as well.

We've been keeping our eye out on it too. We were just out there and it's windy and heck. We're still up for it. At least then I can have the wind to blame.

We just got back and it was a blast!!! I think I'm hooked. It's only the second time I have ever played and I had some good hits and some bad ones. It's a great practice course though and I definitely need the practice. I liked playing on a Sunday night. A little cooler and very peaceful. Can't wait for the next one.

At the bottom of the price page on the NLV site, it says "Pull cart with clubs $10". I didn't see any for rent, but I didn't ask either. I'd call first. 633-1833

Or if you want some cheap clubs there are a buttload of clubs at Desert Industries thrift store on Craig Rd for $1ea. Most clubs are "experienced" but there are enough decent ones to make a 4-5 club set for that course. Just a thought.
