Need help locating a store in the Las Vegas area that would carry a Dunlop Sportmax D218 180/55 ZR17 (rear tire). Tire is getting pretty worn and need to grab a new one. Las Vegas is the nearest large city around my area. I ve checked on-line but have not located anyone carrying this tire. I heard CycleGear might but have not had a chance to call yet.

I would appreciate any help, thank you.

As far as "in stock" Cycle Gear would probably be your best bet.

Just from some quick research, I found out that a D218 will be an OEM special order in most cases. This means that the D218 is produced specifically for installation on certain bikes (the R6, for instance) at the factory. The only place you may be able to get a hold of one in stock would be a dealership. For the price you would pay for a D218 rear, you could probably get a set of Pilot Powers or Dunlop Qualifiers for about the same price. And I'd venture to say that either of the two previously mentioned choices would be a far better tire than the D218. Here's the D218 listed on a site that has pretty good prices overall:

BTW, Cycle Gear doesn't even list the D218 on their website. You may want to give them a call at (702) 435-0635 to see if they have them in the store. Talk to Gregg and he'll find out for you. Good luck and welcome to the site!
