For those of you that made the meeting today (March 4th) Thank You very much! For those who didn't...here is a summary of what happened:

The Motorcycle Awareness and Rider Safety Fair will be on April 12th. I have a call and an e-mail into the track to see if we can have it there. The B plans are either CCSN's range or Harley's Range.

We are selling booth/tent space to local/relavent businesses. Each busniess will donate a specific amount (TBD when we find out our costs), they must do at least 1 safety related presentation and donate prizes for the raffle drawing.



Possibilities for vendors are:

Cycle gear
Las Vegas Dyno Tech
Racers Edge
Cycle accessories
Sportbike rentals
Fasstrack Riders
Race Tech
Harley Davidson
Carter or any other dealer

Any help in contacting these vendors would be appreciated!

In addition to being involved with the show, we could also do a smaller event at their location later in the year.

Food for Event...Burgers and dogs!
Drinks...Water, soda and diet soda.
We can try to find vendors that are willing to donate these items as well. Especially WATER...Jose!

The vendors will do their presentations at pre-determined times. Presentations must be safety related. They will be allowed to sell product at their booth.

Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the day. Prizes will be drawn at the end of the day.

Lee Parks will be the featured presenter in the middle of the day.

I will provide a P.A. system. Announcements will be made as to when vendors demos are about to start, raffles etc.

Volunteers will be needed for:
Setup and strike
Sign ups and money collection
Helping with food and drinks

Great notes Pat, I have to say that your doing a great job as point man for MARS.

I just spoke to the speedway and they have 4 different events going on that weekend. So, we are S.O.L. there. If the space were available it would cost $4,000.00

We need to look into alternate locations ASAP. I am on a plane at 7am tomorrow, so any help would be appreciated.

I should have no problem getting the water. As the space goes, Cycle Accessories have a decent size lot that we could use. Pat please check it out and if it works I will get it hooked up. I kind of have a contact with Ride Now so I can try to get them out there. As soon as I get back from vac. I will call you Pat on details as far as vendors.

We have one lead right now on a location, details once it is more solid.

I will be meeting with the marketing director of Harley Davidson this week about holding the event at the property with the MSF range . They do seem very interested. I'll post up soon as to the status.
