Every morning when I'm riding to work just before I get to work there is a pot hole in the road..... I'm talking grand canyon of pot holes.

This bad boy is about 5 inches deep and about 14 inches wide and 3 ft long. It is right in the lane of travel and if you are not careful this bad boy will send you for a loop. It is just wide enough for you front tire to fall into and cause some problems.

I have gotten in the habit of riding towards the center of the lane just before I get to it, I want to avoid meeting Mr. Pavement at 40 mph.

So about three days ago Mr. CHP Motor Officer decides that he is going to follow me... So he did for about a mile or so..... until we meet Mr. Pot Hole. I know it is coming up so I move over and he runs right into that bad boy.

I just laugh as I saw the headlight shake

Today when I road into work there was new asphalt filling in the Grand Canyon.

I wonder why?

Funny how things get taken care of when a state official notices it.
