Hey Gang,

Long time I know, but I'm working two jobs now. Phew......

Headed home tonight on the I-215 approaching Decatur East bound offramp around 155am (This is Saturday, wee hours). I passed three cruisers, one fire truck, and a flatbed getting ready to load a sporty. I'm guessing he missed his line and bounced. By the looks of the moto, it was bad. The moto is all messed up, and I picked up red fairing colors as I passed. Anyone know if it was it one of ours ???......

Damn... that blows.

You still at the Rampart, Spudley? I've been kinda low-profile riding wise myself.

Hey Eric,

Yessir I am. I work at Mandalay as well. Much closer to home, but still make the 215 run almost five times a week. I wasn't getting that many hours, but as soon as I got M. Bay, Rampart started hammering me with hours. Man, I'm the type that likes to get lost in the desert here and there. No rides for months bruddah.......just daily commuting and boy have a learned a lot, spending so much time in Vegas traffic........

Amazingly enough, as most here know, "texting" while driving seems to be the distractive-practice now....

I believe they already did a couple weeks ago. I haven't been on hayabusa.org lately, but I know they were planning it for the beginning of March.

(I just verified it was last weekend)

Slejor, Flex what's happening bruddah's ????.....

Yep, it (The O-R-G Vegas Run) "was" last weekend.....and yours truly had to work and so did John (Gofaster / 02' LE Busa)...we were crushed they didn't really make it a Vegas Run. It was more like how many guys want to go to Pahrump and ride the track kind of trip. So they made reservations out there, and never made it here. Bummer.....Maybe next year they'll do an official Vegas Run again although the Hayabusa.org guys normally come and go to Vegas, so we do get a chance to interact, and exchange with a lot of individual members over a year's time........

I still remember cresting a hill out on Lakeshore and marveling at the line of sporty's all hanging the same line at what had to be near 100........ That was one of those spiritual moments for me....I just kept looking forward to cresting another hill !!!!

Currently the "Spud's" due for a two or three day, "time to get lost in any direction" trip. Ya' know, pull on the two piece and really get LOST ????...... I've worked so many weeks in a row it's ridiculous....

Hey Eric, does your wife still work out there ???.....

Yep... she's still out there. And I had other commitments last weekend, so I wouldn't have been able to make any of the rides anyway. Maybe we should organize a Vegas Busa Bash for us locals... there's a bunch of us out here.
