So I take it that I'm not shooting your bike anytime soon.

I hope you're okay bro.

Lemme know and I can hook you up. My garage is a friggin mess about now, but I've got a stand and a tool to get at your front axle. This weekend might be ideal.

Prior to putting on new Diablo's for trackdays, I washed them with soap/water to get all the release agent off, and then take a palmsander w/60 grit paper on it to the tread just to scuff them a bit. Takes about an hour of elbow grease but payed off in the confidence the new tires gave being prepped. Then, knowing that the person changing them would have dirty hands, I would hit the tread with alcohol on a rag to get any grease/oils off.

Throw on the wheels/tires, say a prayer, and get ready to tear shizzle up.
