I've fallen on an Alpinestars Mesh, almost no damage to it, or me.

I have a Joe Rocket mesh, and its much lower quality than Alpinestars.
Dont think it would have faired as well with it.

Mesh is a one time use item... They will both work to a limit, and either is better than nothing. At todays prices on these items, you could buy both and not break the bank... Just a thought... Check out Newenough.com they usually have some nice deals.

I have had both, and they both fit specific needs for me... The Mesh was for that def dry day that is gonna be hotter then hell. The Tex was my versatility jacket that I used on those days when there might be a fluctuation of temp the Tex fit the bill. Eventually I went with a perf leather setup and have never gone back to the others.

And they would keep posting stuff in the wrong forums not knowing why it was moved. This way, I shouldn't have to do this over and over.

Back on topic. I personaly like to be protected at all time, no matter how hot it gets. I have a leather Icon jacket, went down at 85mph and there is barely any scratches. Safety first M.A.R.S.
