When I was growing up every boy I knew carried a pocket knife.

We all carried them to school and it was just a way of life. When we were moving today my dad took out his pocket knife, the same one I gave him for xmas like 30 years ago. It is a "Case" single blade knife that has seen its better days.

I used to carry a spydco rescue knife all the time. But now I just have the leatherman.

So who carries a pocket knife?

I have 8 different Spyderco knives and I always have one on me. Extremely useful to have.

I do... my Dad is from the country and I was raised with pocket knives. I had a Barlow knife as a kid, and I carry a bunch of different pocket knives now. (Spyderco, CRKT, Beretta, etc...)

I carry 1 most of the time. I used to have like 30 Gerber knives when I was in the Army, somehow they all came up missing after my divorce!!

Spyderco is the shit! I've carried one on me since I was in the marines. It has a serrated blade that will never go dull.

I gave my 7 year a really decked out swiss army with everything
showed him some safety, & sent him out to whittle a stick
momma had a shit fit, as if I gave him a grenade launcher

it's as if kids are shrink wrapped & hermetically sealed... sad.
