For easy riding I have (along with quite a few others here) Icon Superduty 2. Extremely comfortable when wearing all day, but I may have broken my ankle in them during a highside once. For the more spirited rides I have Aplinestars SMX Plus - I've personally tested them a few times and I'm extremely happy with the outcome.

Raceboots for tearing it up, try them all on and pick what fits best. Docks , icon or some other kind of over the ankle boot for casual street riding.

The Icon Super Duty 2 run $90 and if you put an insole in them they are awesome comfort wise. A bit hot in summer, but will keep your feet warm in winter. Although i'm quite happy with mine, i'll be trying the Shift Fuel shoes next. | |

I have some Alpinestars great boot... a little pricey If your just casual riding I would go with a Icon or something along those lines as long as you get some good ankle protection
