Anything over 45mph and it takes about 20min and a LOT of pain to get the knots out....

45mph and under is not too bad.

Been thinking of just cutting it. I never wear it down anymore since I have to pull it back to ride. So what's the point.

Kept it long so I could get the girlies... but since I have been with my GF for 12 years, not a reason to keep it...

Of course, once I cut it, my luck, she'll leave me LOL.

Ladies, how do you deal with the knots after riding? Do you tie it up a special way? Use a lot of conditioner? Need some advice please

Helmet or not... it still gets tangled bad at a decent speed.

Thanks in advance

As you can see I have hair down to my azz. Sometimes I will put it in a braid which really minimizes the snarles. When I want to leave it down, I usually tuck it in the front of my jacket and it stays put.

I tried the jacket thing, but it limits my head movement and usually pops out. I also tried a few hair ties but they usually blow out :(

Hmmmm a braid... think that's too girly for a guy? I mean I see some harley guys with them.... but they are riding harleys, not yamahas...

Do braid yourself? or have someone do it for you? Wonder if my GF knows how to do that.

Thanks

I'm a girl silly of course I do my own braid. I tried a french braid, but it hurts my head in the helmet. I usually just usually tie it by my neck and then braid the hair. It might look a little girly for a guy.

I see lots of old cruiser dudes with long hair. Looking like a cross between Willie Nelson and Santa Clause with their pony tails in a leather snap up wrap. I do not have long hair and have never used this type of product.

Thanks for the honesty.... I already feel ghey enough with a full face on a cruiser... don't need anything else slapping the ego

I might have grown up in the 80's so I remember the music but thank god I was too young for the concerts. This thread has taken a turn for the worse with all the Poison and Culture Club talk
