I just got a letter in the mail today from Nevada Department of Public Safety. They are Starting instructor training on October 13th though the 19th. This is 75 hours of training. If you pass the application process and get accepted, it is a whopping $100.00 tuition!

Goto Motorcycle Rider's Safety Program- Nevada DMV if you are interested

I am trying to figure out a way to do this during the busiest month of the year for me!

I might do this... I've been kicking around the idea of becoming an MSF instructor for a while.

I liked teaching Les, but I couldn't see myself doing it on a weekly basis. For the same reasons Will stated.

But wouldn't it be great if SCS had an instructor in their ranks.... I did not go to the link, but is there a mandatory amount of classes to be taught? Even if you do not plan on activley instructing, it should make for some great instruction.

I am sending in my application on Thursday. You only have to teach 2 times a year to keep your certification. I think it would be good for MARS as well. I may even do Lees instructor training next year.

I sent in an APP, I'd love to do this also. Everyday I stand up in front of crowds and teach, might as well be something I'm passionate about!

How many points, they told me if it's less than 2 points you can apply. I still have one on my record until Mar 2009 for speeding in a cage north of Tonopah. It's on my record with zero points, which seems stange since I thought that you get 1 point for speeding. I guess we'll see how my application is recieved.

I think it was in AZ 2 years ago, crossing a double yellow passing a car, I took the fraking class and everything, was supposed to be a parking ticket, but they didn't do it....

Hey Loic...were have you been?

BY the way you can have 2 points on your record in the last 2 years. You should write AZ DMV and get those other points removed.
