As some of you that know me, also know that my internet persona can be a bit ornery. Eventhough my intent is not to ruffle feathers, many times that is exactly what happens.

What I find incredibly interesting though is how two groups of people can read the same words and come up with two completely interpretations as to what is being said and what the intent of those words really mean.

Here's two examples.

LONG- Negative feedback on Motoport (apologies to LawDawg!) - Pashnit Motorcycle Forum

Now this is how to do a Internet-style Dogpile - ADVrider

Now these words may convince you that I am a bigger "A" hole than you originally thought or that I am just a misunderstood, warm caring human being. All opinions are welcome with open arms.

Tom you are very interesting........

FTR,I think she was really complaining about the harsh treatment on the phone and the slight difference in amount.......

I don't think you meant any harm at all with your first post, but sometimes your post can read a little harsh..... You started off really good, but then you had a slight relapse of that Tom Foolery (Had to use it) that I love you for......

Now don't attack me, you asked for my opinion.......

Shwell crawls back under bridge....... What does that mean anyway?

Well... I can see it both ways. And I agree with shwell that she was complaining about the somewhat rude treatment and the $13 difference, but to attempt to discredit a business because of miscommunication is wrong. She needs to lighten the fuck up.

I was curious about the "under the bridge comment too. Did she mean it literally or did she mean it figuratively, as in I hadn't posted recently? Alas, I shall never know since she took her ball and went home... After she hit me in the nuts with it first, of course.

and of course I won't attack for giving me an opinion that I asked for.

I understood what she was complaining about, but her post seemed to indicate that she played a role in instigating his response. I talked to Wayne this morning because I didn't think it was fair for his business to get blasted in such a one-sided manner. He seems like a great guy with a personality and temperament simular to Josh and you all know that Josh rarely goes postal.

Tom,I think you posted what you did, so they could provoke you into going off on her.. Because you like the owner on personal level...... You sir, are a bully...... I hope she gets her big brotha to come after you, so you can kick his arson hasn't chimed in yet.....

You really like to mess with dsylexics, don't ya? Actually I don't know the owner, this morning was the first time that I'd talked to him. What raised the B.S. flag for me was how she continually defended that fact that she was mad, but didn't cuss or yell at him, like that's the only way to crap on someone ?

I thought I was very civil in the first post I made but I think some may have keyed in on my first paragraph where I'd mentioned my past behavior and subconsciously they wanted to see that instead of the rest of my post.

Told ya I'm a deep thinker.
