Is it Snell ?
If so, then your'e fine.

Even if it isn't (and I doubt that it isn't), they more than likely not have a problem with it.

I have an OGK helmet, which also does not have the DOT sticker on it. OGK helmets are pretty close to AVG. You should be fine. I've never had anybody search my helmet before. If you don't make a big deal about it, I sure nobody else will.

you'll be fine, all they require is a long sleeve T-shirt (nice protection) and you can wear cotton gloves, Gardner's gloves (even better protection) So any helmet is good. I didn't bring a helmet with me, they just gave us the little dome ones....

Just to let you know in my class they did check the helmets to see if they were DOT. Just a heads up. One girl was sent home cause her helmet was not and she had no gloves. Of course she came back but missed the morning class.

They used to check your lid at The Strip also. It had to be DOT, which is funny because Snell is a more stringent test, but they wouldn't accept it if it were only Snell.

Guess they are really get tough because in my class like I said they checked everything and riding gloves were a must, long sleeve shirts, helmets had to be dot and the visor had to be down when riding unless you had sunglasses on, must have boot that go over your ankles. And yes before we got on any bike they checked each and every one of us to make sure and we had to pull our pants legs up and show our boots. So please make sure you have all the gear before the class because to miss any is a waste.

Also they do not loan or provide helmets.
