have an answer to the question about using the horn or steering clear. It was put to me like this. A car can't here a firetruck till it's 15 ft from it. So can u imagine a bike horn being louder then one of those trucks! Steer away my friends.

yeah, Hyundai is advertising a car that has 0 outside noise. NICE!!!! I don't care if they can hear it or not... it makes me feel better to blast that sucker at them. Common people, it's not like a car horn where you have to take your hand off the steering wheel to blow it..... it's just a thumb movement and will not stop you from steering away.

If nothing else, it gets others that may be around on the street to look and if you get hit, you have witnesses to their stupidity.

my 0.02 :)

PS, Congrats on the pass!!

I am going to put a horn on my bike that simply yells out in a very obnoxious voice, WATCH OUT YOU STUPID FUCKIN IDIOT Then I will wave with a big smile. At least it will make me feel better if nothing else

Just get a blowhorn can and rig it to your bike... That way when moron's that don't pay attention to the road start to come over you can push the button and WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sure that sound would make them shake a little.... or piss their pants. hahaha
