Well for those of you who saw my original vest, it has been returned and I now have one of the first of it's kind ICON vests with the back protector. I got it from Moto Cafe ( imagine that ). They aren't cheap, but I am sure that if we like them we can get a deal somewhere. They did a casting call and photo shoot at Moto last monday and ICON brought out the new line. This vest was actually designed for the clubs.

Well anyhow I will see yall tonight.

this a a new design? I 2 got one from the cafe. They said it would take a few days and it actually was 3 weeks. That's the pic of what I got. I painted it orange. First with a decko paint marker and it wouldn't dry. Plus it wasn't the shade I wanted. Then I went to wallmart and did it with a quick dry marker and vuala!!! LOL only bad thing about the vest is I don't think u get much front protection and it's got that extra disk on the bottom that can get wedged in the back of your pants, near your belt.whitch means it slides up when u lean down. I still like. Makes me feel like a mortal kombat fighter.

FINISH HIM!!!!!

It looks like a bullet proof style perforated leather vest with zipper front. The difference is this one has no ICON logo on the front, has back armor, and nothing on the back so you have ample room for a patch.

The zipper on my vest is breaking already so I think if I can find a spare few hours I will have to run up and return it also. Did you have the patches and all removed by someone?

thats gonna be my next vest, as long as the price isn't rediculous, although ICON stuff usually is overpriced.

Here you go, Bro. Right off their website:

REGULATOR STRIPPED
$215 - Suggested Retail USD

Blood In, Blood Out. Certain clubs require only club patches to be worn on member's vests. We can dig it. The kings of over the top branding relent. Protect your turf while the Regulator's hard back armor protects your back. Regulator Vest Stripped - the 12 o'clock pool cue has lost it's sting.

Thats the most squidtastik description I've ever seen! Props Icon! Okay back to protecting my "Turf"

come on, you know their whole marketing campaign is for the Biker Boyz crowd. At least some of the gear is actually good.

I am talking with Ed on the price right now. Mine is actually a Sample model. As with all things, if he gets a bulk order the price is easy to work with. He is checking with Icon directly before he quotes me a price.

Yeah, I don't see spending $200 on a vest to protect my "turf". At least spending that kind of money on a jacket gives you full protection, since your only getting half the protection from a vest it should be half the cost..Ok, thats my logic anyway. CARRY ON

I considered buying one of these for about .02 seconds. It would just be a bit redundant since I always wear my patch over an armored jacket anyway. I'll probably pick up another vest with a zipper, though. The faux-bulletproof vest without the zipper is a PITA to get on/off.

Just not feelin that vest. Well not for a sportbike at least, sportbike riders in a leather vest like that just scream out byker boy.
