I am selling my TL and my 109 for this bad boy right here. With a new set of pipes on her, she would be so damn sexy!!!

Its a nice bike, but I'd keep the 109. Sometimes, just nothing beats riding a big fat cruiser down the hiway.

Excellent choice... but I'm not quite feelin' the white on the Busa.

Nah, I have given this ALOT of thought and I seriously wouldn't ride the 109 at all once I get the Busa anyway. Besides, I am 1 of those very impatient people and that would mean waiting longer for the Busa and that is unacceptable.

Although I appreciate your opinion and it's all good, The white is by FAR the best color on the Busa IMO. With the blue highlights and silver in it, that bike is SMOKIN HOT. I do like the black and darker colors, but never again in this town will I ever own a black bike.

Just went to ridenaw and saw the zx10. And a zx14 for 13 grand I think. I don't like the busa. It's bulky and clumsy looking. It's probably a better dancer then my 600 but for looks. IMO it's fat. Not phat. The colors r nice. This guy that works at cyclegear has a cbr with a monica something fairings. It's the same colors. Clean

i went and looked at the zx14 today, i think the opposite of frank, the 14 is much wider then the busa, and it sits higher as well. im not a gixxer freak but i would roll the busa.

Have you looked at the BMW thats in the same class and the Busa and the ZX14?

Its a little more expensive, and alot more exclusive. Not as much aftermarket support, but hey its a BMW.

I WANT YOUR 109 in the worst way. To bad I can't afford it right now. I really like yours as well as the Blue and white. I think it is an 07 or 05 with the Blue and white!?

BMW lots of problems???

My K100RS had 85,000 on it and the only problem I had with it was the block cracked when I t-boned a cage. (not a manufacture problem)

I picked up a '71 R60/5 Police and '70 R75/5 last month when I was at the races in Indy.

IMHO they are great bikes but the dealershit in town won't deal and I have way WAY too many toys now to add another.

let me found some thread for you about bmw's reliability. I loved them, and was very shocked to find out all the problems.

PSA: Anybody who rides an early F650GS or Dakar will want to see this... - Sport-Touring.Net

and here : (link to the posts :ZZRBikes.com - THE web resource for Kawasaki ZZR Motorcycles! Forums-viewtopic-Why BMWs suck. Shaft drive failure
Milinda & I have been fighting adversity since the start of the 'Run What Ya Brung' (5 days/5000 miles) endurance rally on September 2nd.

Day one was freezing. low temps across wyoming & Utah below 32 degrees.

Day two was wet. road from Nebraska, down to Wichita, Kansas on the way to La Crosse, Wisconsin. Rode through the corner of the remains of Hurricane Gustav. Pouring rain from Wichita to Des Moines Iowa.

Day three windy. More rain and windy as h#ll across Minnesota and all of North Dakota.

The result................

2 days and 14 hours (literally half way through the rally) we are now sitting in Sturgis South Dakota with the rear wheel of my pile of cr@p K1200GT BMW wobbling so severly that I was afraid it might fall off!

Final Drive Failure at 36,250 miles. 1 year, 1 month, 1 week, and 3 days after the original date of delivery.

Of course the bike came with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty!
(bought the 7 year unlimited mile extra plan so I'm covered)

I do believe that this is the end of my BMW ownership experience.

F@#K YOU BMW

To have this happen during an endurance competition is unforgiveable

Life time drive shaft my @ss!
