Freddie Spencer's High Performance Riding School

Due to current economic conditions and drastically increasing costs, Freddie Spencer's High Performance Riding School has ceased operations for the time being. We intend to resume classes if and when that becomes viable. We want to thank all of our sponsors and students who have made this school a possibility.

It had nothing to do with economic times. It had to do with poor money management and rampant spending by a certain loved one...or so I hear. It could just be rumor.

LOL... If you'd ever met Shelly, you wouldnt wonder if it was just a rumor. My son and Freddie's daughter where in the same classes at Merry Hill for a few years.

Yeah, Freddie is a super nice guy, he even came to Nathan's birthday parties with his kids.

I remember when Racers Edge opened (back in the day) and he was there selling his books. But not a hard sell kind of guy. If you wanted one, fine. If not, fine. He came over when SCS was eating and chatted with us a while.

Cooler than the other side of the pillow.

I am sure he will rebound. There may even be another school opening up in Las Vegas in it's place. Nothing solid...or even mushy yet.

The fill in mechanic @ Moto worked there and said that Freddy just wasn't the same after the divorce and all. He also said that Honda will come up with something else.

I would consider that a reliable source.

Looks like he might need some money...

Hmm, wonder if we could have him do private lessons for SCS for cheap ;)

Cheap for Freddie would be 1K per person

I hope he gets through all this OK. He is such a legend in the sport
