For those of you who were wondering about the oatman twistys here is a map from google maps that shows a trip from kingman az to oatman



and the laughlin side is boreing

That is a great road.... I'm always careful there because of the poor quality of the pavement.

I see what you're talking about, but isn't Oatman/Kingman, AZ like 3 hours from vegas for only a 10 mile strip of twisties that have bad pavement? Is it really worth it? I don't know personally, just looking at the facts, I've never been there.

i'll have to try that way soon. the laughlin exit can be fun though. You can coast race the whole way down. I made it about 50ft from the traffic light from all the way back at the main hill outta Oatman.

Getting to see Oatman is worth the ride. It is only a 3 hour trip if you stop in Searchlight for lunch for an hour.

My advice is, if you go to Oatman, do not go in the summer, it is way too damn hot there and they don't believe in A/C. Other than that it is like stepping back in time..
