a 3D scanner and 3D "printer" that makes any object out of ABS plastic. The scanner is really cool... its has alot of potential for a multitude of applications, but the 'printer' is really cool as well. And the scanner is only $3k Jay Leno's Garage

I heard about this technology some years ago, but I didn't know it was this advanced. The copy of the engine and wrench were crazy.

That scanner could be really cool for videogame applications. Build a model, scan it into the computer, animate it...

I saw a thing on tv the other day, it's a machine that can literallly make anything, even food! Tables, couches, forks, etc, anything. But it's the size of a garage, won't exactly fit in your kitchen, yet!
