Hey what's going on everybody?? Not exactly a LV local, as I live in north Georgia not too far from Atlanta.... but figured I'd join up here too. Some might recognize me from other forums... I'm on alot of them. Anyways, quick intro... my name is Jared, I'm 27 and ride a black and red 2004 Honda CBR 600 F4i, which I absolutely love to death, and ride each and every day Here's a few recent pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Anyways.... y'all are probably wondering just why I'm joining up on a LV forum. Well.... next year around April or so, I'm (tentatively) planning on taking a cross country trip on my bike, and I'll be over that way. It's my aunt and uncles 40th anniversary in Tucson, AZ, and since I've been wanting to get out west on my bike for some time now, I figure this is the perfect opportunity to make a little vacation out of it. I'd like to hit up the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Pacific Coast Hwy in Cali... just to name a few. I'm joining up here because I'd like to get to know a few people beforehand, and hopefully meet up with some people that might know the area a little better than me, and either point me in some good directions or come for a ride and show me around town a lil bit.... or possibly let me borrow a couch for a night I do alot of roadtrips on my bike and always try and meet up with as many people as I can along the way. That's the tentative plan at least.... got a year or so to plan it, but if I do it I definitely want to make it a kick ass trip That's about it for me. Take it easy everyone... and ride safe!

Sup Jared, I moved out her back in '97 from Atlanta. I grew up out by Stone Mountain and Chamblee. I see you live out past "law"ville. Hope the cops don't hassle you to much out there. I do miss the trees, shade, and curvy roads everywhere. About all I don't is the humidity and mosquitoes. I wanna go ride up through the smokey mountains and Chattanooga National Forrest extremely bad. Drove all the time through there growin up visiting my granny up in Blairsville. I would like to one day do the exact ride your planning, just in reverse. Keep us up to date on your progress and planning. We'll be glad to help you out through your vegas part of the trip in any way we can. | |
