It's not you! You had to pay to get the custom license plate and you'll have to pay for it every year when you register as well!

Matt, you should know better. Anything to do with the DMV is a hassle. You should just be able to go in and turn in your existing plates and order the new one's though...

Yea it took no time at all, maybe 45 seconds, then it took 10 damn minutes to get it registered.

After a 2 hour wait!

You can order vanity plates at anytime. You do not need to wait till your current ones expire, you will however need to pay the prorated difference for a new reg sticker.

Cost is initially/renew ~ $35.50/$20

M/C plates hold a max of 6 characters.
