After a very very very long and most obsurd process of buying a house, which was the worst experience of my life, it has come to and end with house keys in our hands. We were supposed to close on 2nd of March. LOL. Good joke. We signed docs at title on 13 March and didnt get our keys until TODAY!!! Three weeks later. The wire screwed up and had to be sent on three seperate occassions. Everything that could have gone wrong in the buying process DID go wrong. Well now, we are one block from the Aliante, and in a pretty brand new home. We plan on having a BBQ here in the next couple of weeks, once we get situated. I know I dont know many of you all that well and it is probably pretty weird, but if any of you are down, I think it would be a great chance for me to meet some of you guys. Who would be down to bring some fixins and have a grill out at my house in the not too distant future. Granted we dont have a lot of furniture yet and etc, I think it would be a good oppurtunity to eat, enjoy the weather, meet some local riders, and possibly drink some alcoholic beverages =) Let me know if anyone would not be too uncomfortable going to a strangers house to eat some eats. Congrats! Sounds like you're living right where Les & I wanted to buy. But Dec 2005 those houses were just outside our price. We bought about 2 miles south of you.

Yeah we got extremely lucky to get stationed here when we did. Hopefully if we only stay here for 4 years as planned we can make some serious cash when we leave.
