Just so everyone knows I dropped my bike this morning. It is at motocafe now if you want to see it. I am ok other then some foot, hand and back pain. I will post details when I leave the emergency room.

Here are some pictures of my injuries. My hand has a cast on it so I can't take a picture of that but they don't think it is broken, they just want to be safe. The toes and cuts look a lot worse in person. I was driving southbound on Pecos toward the 215 entrance. When the far right lane gets wider to either go straight or go onto the highway the car in front of me stayed to the left. I started to pass him to the right to get on the highway and he made a right hand turn into a parking lot without signaling from the far left of the lane. The road is about 1.5x normal road space so technically it is my fault for being behind him and not having control of my bike. His car has almost no dmg but a slight crack in the back bumper. I am not sure if I hit him but I think my bike hit him while I was flopping around. I was going about 30-35mph. | |

Glad you are okay, sound like you were very lucky. Could have been much worse. Next time I come across one of those "Extra" wide lanes and want to go by a cager, thanks to you, I will take a half second and rethink what could happen. How about a gear report? What were you wearing and how did it perform. Were those pics of your foot from wearing riding boots?
