Your motorcycle or your significant other?

You havent ridden your motorcycle in a long, long time and when the greatest weather weekend approaches and your SO is about to head out of town, do you stay at home with your SO or do you go riding with your SCS friends?

Voted S.O. The beauty of a riding suit made out of goretex to stay dry, electric liner to keep warm and ABS brakes. Any weather is riding weather. Rain is just liquid sunshine with the right equipment. Not to mention I'll just ride the next week when the S.O. isn't there if I'm reading your scenario correctly.

Rut roh jeff, did the SO see the original post? =X

heheh

The way i see it, the person you love would never make you choose over an inanimate object...

If you were to the point of almost killing yourself and getting hurt constantly, you probably should'nt be on a bike anyways..

My choice, since my bike being my only mode of transportation, def makes it more important then my significant other. I dont see her paying my bills.

Well, Jeremie has already "proven" this answer. He ditched me on my last birthday for a ride, and he's done it a few times. BUT, I'd probably do the same, lol.

Hmmmm... neither vote works for me. First, yes, the scenario makes no sense... if the SO is going out of town, it's a no-brainer. What am I supposed to do, sit around the house waiting for him to call to say he made it?

Second, my SO rides and I would hope we would always ride together when possible. If not, I can't imagine any reason why I would want to keep him from riding if I couldn't, and I'd hope he wouldn't try to keep me from a ride if he couldn't go. Some cases are obvious... if the SO is sick and needs TLC, or if we had plans to do something together, SO comes first. If SO just has other stuff to do or doesn't want to go, etc., and I have an opp for a ride, I'm riding... okay, I just rationalized myself into a friggin' answer!! The SO would come first if I was needed in some way or we already had plans... guess I better vote...

wait a minute... I just realized that my SO doesn't share the same sentiment, as evidenced by recent events wait another minute... that's okay, 'cause when I'm sick I prefer to to be alone, and I'd rather see him out there riding... leaving me alone!!

[a glimpse into the whacky world of VFRChick's mind... quite scary ] Did I say I am bored at work today? Wow... all I can say is... Wow...

Okay... a "little" TLC before he left would have been nice, but that just means an opportunity for improvement. I'm sure I'll be sick again... and he'd better give me some TLC before going on that ride next time!!

Sometimes I just amaze myself with my whackiness!!

Thank you Slejor... I take that as a compliment. If I'm not being called weird or crazy, there is something wrong. Nothing wrong today!
