About 200 miles away from the nearest end, it's on the way to LA.

It's a very challenging stretch of roadway, with lots of twisties, excluding the rocks. Very popular for motorcycles. Just have to keep it cool, lot's of Chippers. Love to give tickets.

+1 including fix it tickets... modified exhaust... non DOT turn signal lamps... rear license plate not properly visible... ect... ect...

Be aware of the speed limits... don't give them a reason to stop you... if one of you gets pulled over, the rest of you had better keep going to your next destination!

Use hand signs to signal other riders...

Ride safe, don't ride over your head there! It's very easy to get into the triple digits, DON'T! Many have been killed there!

Rookie Rider? Why are you riding an R1? That's no rookie bike!

If you are new, your learning curve is much more easier and forgiving on a less powerful bike.

This is great news that they finally opened the road. The last I heard that wasn't going to happen at all. I did a section of the road last month. The more popular segments have lots of patrols. You have to ride a bit more conservative.
