Well it was an intersting news clip on Nightline. It depicted motorcycles owning Angel Crest Highway. Said one gas station located at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountain where the road begins often has over 500 bikes topping off their tanks at that station on a single day. Also said that about 40 motorcyclist have been killed. About 3-4 crashes on the road per day involving bikes according to the CHP. It's so bad that they have a Medical Helicopter stationed at the top of the mountain. The clip will probably end up on you-tube for those folks who missed it.

Well I was able to find the clip from ABC. It was kind of cool seeing clips of the video that already has been posted by a forum member. His screename is Wavex, he belongs to the FZ6-Forum I belong to. It's the part where it shows him going off the roadway. I have ridden with him, he's a great rider, better than me. He does a lot of track days too. The FZ6 he was on made it to the Yamaha's top ten bikes of 2008. I'll post a pic of it when I get a chance, it was a beautiful naked conversion. He was mad with himself for running off the road. He said he should have pressed and leaned harder to make the turn rather than letting of the throttle, straightening out and going off into the ditch. ABC News
