I need to paint my upstairs (hopefully this weekend) and I have one small wall that is really high and my 6' ladder only gets me about 3/4 of the way up.

If anyone has one I can borrow....I'd really appreciate it!! I am pretty good in the baking dept., so if you want something made from scratch, let me know, I can do it.

My specialties: triple layer dark chocolate cake with homemade caramel frosting, strawberries and cream cake, caramel-apple bites (filled cookies), and so-this-is-what-heaven-tastes-like bars. I can do almost anything else....just let me know! Thx!

Hey Kelly... we have an 18' ladder you are more than welcome to use. You just have to get it from our place to yours. Let me know if this works!

Thanks Eric! I'll call you if I need it. My friend just called me and said she may have a ladder, I'm going to check it out today...

Maybe a little late to the party but... why not just get a long extension for the roller? I've done cathedral ceilings while standing on the floor... no ladder required. I'm sure you got what you need by now though...

That sounds great, but I don't know how to tape it so the ceiling doesn't get paint on it.

Does anyone know if there is something that could replace me taping the wall? I know they have those things that you can use around the edges of door frames and baseboards, instead for taping, but I would need one that has a long handle (like 6'). Do they make such a thing. I was at Lowes and didn't see anything like this.....

Take a piece of cardboard and hold it against the ceiling with one hand, then paint the wall with your other hand.

Works 60% of the time, every time!
