Well for those of you who are wondering, here is the latest and greatest. 1. My Left forearm is doing better. The plate is holding in place. The actual fracture is called a Nightstick fracture. The plate and 5 screws are holding the bones in place, the bone hasn't fully mended yet. The mobility is still limited and I am working on it. The strength is not so good but will come along. 2. My Right thumb is out of the brace and they want me to work and see what it will do. I think it is partially out, it isn't functioning correctly. I hope that it will heal but I am not holding my breath, it is deformed. 3. I got a surprise Thursday, I found out that I broke and damaged my teeth during the accident I had to have oral Surgery on Monday and they extracted 5 of my back teeth. That would help make sense of the Anesthesia post.As far as when I will be able to ride, that is a good question. I am thinking that it probably won't be until 2010. I would rather be over cautious than to push it too soon. I can't hold in a clutch and squeezing the break is almost impossible. Thanks again for everyone's best wishes, thoughts and prayers. They really did help!

Good stuff mang! And yes, take it slow and easy. No rush. Bikes aren't going away anytime soon...you'll get yours soon enough...

Care to share on what happened? How and why you crashed. Would you do anything differently or what you think miight have saved your ass. What type of gear were you wearing and how did it perform? One thing nice about forums, everyone can learn from others who have experienced something, whether it's good or bad. With your extensive riding expereince, what you can be able to provide from this expereince will go along ways which might save someone else in the future. From the pictures I saw from the crash, you obviously did something right because you're still posting. Thanks and see you out on the road.
