Hey guys, Well some of you know I have a bike trip planned for this week coming up and for some reason U-Haul doesnt let motorcycle trailers go one way out of state or even round trip out of state for that matter. So now I am like 4 days away from my trip and I dont have a motorcycle trailer. If anyone knows where I can rent a motorcycle trailer for a four day trip to Cali and back, it would be GREATLY appreciated. If anyone has a trailer they are not using and would be willing to loan/rent me, please let me know. Running out of options. Thanks in advance guys.

Well if you really get desperate and run out of time. You could always just rent a Uhaul truck and box up your bike for the trip. We've been know to do this before. ![]() ![]() You can also lock your bike up in the Truck at night, if you don't have any other safe place to keep it. Have fun on your trip! Yeah, that is funny. We will be staying on a Navy base so theft isnt an issue. Plus, I dont wanna have to drive that beast there. I have a truck we are taking. I figured that someone would know another place to rent one or have one they could rent themselves. Does anyone know how U-haul would konw if you DID take the trailer out of state? I was thinking of just taking the motorcycle trailer and not telling them I am leaving the state or just renting a utility trailer with the ramp built on....I need to figure something out.

How many bikes are you towing? And what are the exact dates that you need the trailer? I don't have one to offer, but this info may get some responses to your dilemma. I know there are a few peeps out there that may be able to help.

just rent the trailer and don't mention the cali part. Let em know you'll be using it for however many days. And make sure to bring it back. Should work. I didn't even know u-haul had bike trailers.

Yeah it looks like I will be getting a U-haul trailer. I called another location and they said that they are not supposed to rent out for out of state but she told me on the phone "we dont know where your taking it, just make sure it comes back". So pretty cool of her. Only 15.00 a day for the rental too. Not bad at all.
