You may all know what I'm talking about. It's those real sharp rocks that are used as the median and interchanges, mainly off the 215 freeway. You slide into them, go into them, you're a goner.

A while back, I submitted my concern to the Office of Traffic Safety pertaining to motorcycles about the rocks being used as medians on Federal Funded Highways. My views and concern made it to Washington D.C. and they would like to see some pictures.

I am planning to go out in the next couple of days and take some pictures, but in the event that any member can take the time and take some pictures for me, I may not even have to go out.

Here's the e-mail:

Kenny,

A while ago, you sent me a message about your concern of boulders placed in the median on the 215. I took your information to Washington DC last week during a Federal Highway Administration meeting. They were worried. They also asked for some pictures of them. Can you take some digital photos of the rocks and surrounding roads and send them to me?

i saw an accident happen and a car went into that gravel you speak of. Thousands of sharp, HUGE pieces of rocks went flying from the entry ramp (where the accident happened) all the way to the far left lane of traffic. The only reason i made it through had to of been because of my vehicle(motorcycle) no car could have navigated all those rocks scattered across the roads. I have no idea what they were thinkin when they put a shit load of rocks to designate a median.
