On Dec. 4 and 5, the AMA will welcome some of the finest woman motorcyclists to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. On Friday night, AMA will salute the racing community at the Racing Championship Banquet. Then on Saturday evening, motorcycling heroes of the past and present will be honored at the 2009 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Women to be honored are: Mona Ehnes, who will be inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in recognition of her decades of championing of off-road riders’ rights. Leslie Porterfield who won the AMA Racing Female Rider of the Year on her turbo Busa. Attendees will be able to feast their eyes on some of the most beautiful bikes ever created at the 2009 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Concours d’Elegance. Only the most compelling original or painstakingly restored vintage motorcycles are invited to participate in this show.
