Looking for a full exhaust system for my 54. The guy I bought it from had a yoshimura full system on it, but sold everything except the tailpipe. I can't find one from yoshi anywhere online, though. The best is a half system. Also considering akrapovic full, but it's so expensive. Does anybody know anything that can help me out? Is akrapovic really that much better? I'm posting on some fireblade sites too, just curious if one of us has some knowledge. Thanks

Try going to the Arata website. That is the system I'm running on my 954.

Again, youtube probably has clips of different exhausts. d:D I probably would have gone Akrapovic if I didn't get a muzzy on my bike.

Who cares about sound, especially on a trackbike. Then again, a half system is fine for you, its just as good as a stock system for the track.

For the track, buy cheap , and buy what has available parts. Yosh is great, you can call and order any part needed, hindle , and a few others are like that.

If you are putting money into the bike a pipe and power commander should be further down the list. Realistically you may only gain 4 or 5 hp and spend over a grand. Put the money into the suspension. Especially since you are doing a track day. That will be a far better investment. The 954 has plenty of power. You will be much faster on a bike with a better suspension then adding a few ponies.

Interesting. I'll give that some thought. My springs are a little soft anyway.

+1 on Pats response, if you haven't already done it, get your suspension dialed in on your weight. Randy @ In House or Dale @ Racers Edge.
