Picked it up today from the guys at Cycle Gear on Pecos, took it out for a spin to Boulder and back on this GLORIOUS day for riding and I would highly recommend this Shoei. Top Notch: ventilation, optical clarity, comfort, fit, graphics! The Snell 2010 is a major "+"!

Nice lid! Even tho I'm an Arai fan.

I know that they have discontinued the RF-1000, what's the difference between the two?

Wonder what the improvements are?

The fully-removable liner is a big plus and much better ventilation than the RF-1000. Here's a great review:

Home | Helmet Harbor

Find the RF-1100 on that page and click "Quick Video".

I might just stop by Cycle Gear on Saturday and get one. I hope they still come in a Caster Graphic Design, I really like mine.

Anyone want to come?

I get very good discounts, I think 20% on helmets and 30% on everything else.

I think i've been spending way too much money on my bike lately. But it may be a possibility, what time are you planning on rolling over? I do need to get some rearsets for my bike.

Right now, the great deals would be the Shoei RF 1000, since they're being replaced by the 1100. I've seen them 30% off.

The RF 1000 is a great deal, but I just like how on the 1100 they got rid of the plastic spoiler and as mentioned earlier the fully removable liner is a definite plus. Also, the 1100 has a larger field of vision especially noticeable when you're fully crouched on the bike. Even in day to day riding--which I have been enjoying with this INCREDIBLE weather we're having--the field of vision is much better.
