Anyone have some?

Red Route

I know they are part of the Frank Thomas line just wondering if they were worth the $90 they want for them

i have a set... i like them and mine have the knee pads in them...

Of course i bought them at cyclegear on News Years day for 20% discount... that made them more worth it..

As for truely being worth it.. i have never tested them and hope to never test them, but they fit well and look fine...

I've never tried them, but I'm going to give them a thumbs-up on the strength of the availability of a long inseam. Most of the mid-priced riding jeans only come in a 32" inseam, which is too short for my lanky ass.

I have Frank Thomas slip over's that are pretty decent, got them for 90-100$, can't remember....they definitely help on colder days, and are way better than jeans...the ONLY complaint, is that I'm 6'2", and these come up over my boots during a ride, when zipped to my jacket....annoying....but well worth it for the day to day ride.

I have a pair of these that are about six years old. (od course, the design has been updated accordingly) They are similar to the Frank Thomas overpants AND they are available in a long inseam:

Joe Rocket Ballistic 7.0 Textile Motorcycle Pants :: New Enough, LTD

I Ride: Currently shopping for bike. Had 07 R6, 78 DS 125, 02 600r, 05 R6
I have a pair for about 8 months now. Never been down in them. They are well made compared to most jean style pants. Im 6'3" and they fit well. No complaints as of yet.
