Not sure if everyone has heard, but a car was travelling the wrong way on Hwy 95N and struck a motorcyclist head on. RIP our fellow rider. I think they were saying that the driver flipped a U-turn after entering the on-ramp? I was never fond of the right lane on the freeway either, but this was off the charts. But looks like the driver was going down the wrong direction down the HOV lane according to the pic. NHP Investigates Fatal Accident on U.S. 95 at Decatur - Las Vegas Now This is the second fatal accident involving a rider in 3 days, as another rider was killed when he rear ended a vehicle on I-15S & Sahara and then fell into the next lane in which he got run over by a semi-truck. Keep you head and eyes up everyone! There is no such thing as an ordinary ride.

How the hell do you cross that many lanes of traffic on the 95 going the wrong way? And there was a passenger in the car. Seriously, wtf people. The DMV should make people past a certain age retest for their driver's license yearly. If we didn't have so many old lawmakers it would have probably been a standard years ago.

That would be nice. But the world has this huge outlook on old people being wiser for some reason. Sure. Whatever.

Unbelievable! How are people like that still driving. At a certain point you have to really ask if anyone on the gov really cares.

Some updates on this particular accident from 702sb: "His name was Jason Leigh who lived to ride his Harley. He was a TSgt in the United States Air Force stationed at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. He was a great friend of mine who left behind two gorgeous daughters. Thank you and please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. -Jeff" "The driver was confused, not intoxicated. Driving the wrong way is technically a crime, but the driver is likely not to face any jail time. Their drivers license was revoked, and after this incident it's unlikely they will ever get it back. There was no passenger in the vehicle." R.I.P. Friggen old people and cars... ![]() If it were 2 motor cops that got ran down you could bet there would be people looking into the policy on the elderly and what they must do to maintain their licenses.
