Wasn't sure where to post this...anywho, I was given an assignment to demonstrate an interesting mailer for one of my design classes. Aside from projects like this, I really need to beef up my graphic design portfolio, so I'm looking to do actual flyers for SCS. This was the mock up I did for my assignment. Postcard size. Stamp mia. (not really cost efficient as a self-mailer being that this would need to be double-sided, printed on cardstock, stamped, and requires a diecut made for the wheel...just work I did for school) Feel free to criticize, but if I blow donkey balls, tell me why! <3 ![]() Edit: Merged to 1 image instead of 3. Added Pheer's changes. Last edited by Equanimity; 04-27-2010 at 09:19 AM.

Great work Em!!! I love the way you maintained continuity with the font and colors. And No... this is far from sucking donkey balls!

May sound picky, but where Arson's front wheel extends onto the yellow-orange line of color at the bottom, you didnt continue that line thru his front wheel. I do a lot of graphic design and that almost instantly drew my attention. And this is just a little suggestion: Your "Escape the Desert' text... if you outline that with just one or two pixels of a solid color (its called 'stroke' in Photoshop) or use a little drop shadow, it will make the text 'pop' off the background of the photo more. Unless of course, you dont want it to look that way. Nice work.

I can't see it here at work! But i'm always interested in graphic design since I DJ on the side I always need stuff done flyers, graphics, presskit,cd covers etc. I got a few projects for events, website, etc that i'm almost ready to send out to my graphic design guys now. But, their prices are a little steep though so I farm out small stuff as much as I can. I'll definitely be checking out your work!

-The front text actually does have a stroke, but it probably could've been darker. It's only the deeper ray of orange. -This was all done in Illustrator btw.
