Just getting back on the bike after about a 20 year hiatus. Here's a couple pics of my new/old ride, 1983 VF750F, and a pic of me and my wife Jintana. Some info that may or may not be interesting... We're both originally from Thailand, been in Vegas for the last 28 years. My Avatar is a picture of me from 1975 (11 yrs old) on my Honda Trail 50. My actual name is Bill, Ed is my friend, we do actually live in Sloan Canyon and it's an actual canyon in the south end of town. Morningwood is not a town in Nevada, and I'm rarely serious. I'm slow, my bike is slow. Getting back on a bike is gonna be fun. Bill

Welcome. Nice sense of humour. As for the Honda Mini Trail 50 it brings back memories...ak-choo-lee night mares...the vent on top of the fuel cap and the nut buster handle bar drops. Dang I just bent over from the pain again... I spent many an hour on the 50 before I moved up to the CT 70...the list grows from there. Watch out for Mr. Pheer. He loves the interceptors.

Thanks for the invite, off hand I could think of about a dozen reasons for not attending a Red Rock ride, or I could just man-up and go. It does sound like fun. Buellrider, seem to recall one or two funny posts from you also. Thanks for the nice welcome I'll try to show a proper amount of irreverance with the replies, and please feel free to stomp me in the nuts when I deserve it.

| His bike is safe (for now) since I'm pretty happy with my air-cooled, antiquated, under-powered, over-chromed, extremely red, loud, belt driven... sex machine on wheels. | |

Welcome to the site. I believe we talked at the MARS event. Definetly try to make the Red Rock rides. Don't stress, you ride at your pace. We NEVER encourage people to "keep up".

Btw. Love the bike. That bike was a game changer in '84.

Wow! thanks guys! Somehow I get the feeling I'll be seeing a lot of LED tailights on the rides. That's O.K. After 47 years I've learned that being slow is way better than eating shit. Pat, yes, we met at the MARS event last Sat. I was with my son Robert. Cycle Gear owes you a comission we dumped some semi-serious coin on boots and gloves. Biggest reason we went was to get a chance to talk to you a little about your Hyosung. Hope Willow Springs was fun. Alright that was a rookie question how could it not have been.
