Howdy again! I was wondering what local shop would you all suggest for suspension setup? (Setting sag, compression, rebound, etc...) I know it can be done at home, but I think I want a pro to setup the suspension this time, so I know at least the baseline is setup properly & then I can go from there. Thanks! Mat

In deference to your post... I'm still going to say that we (myself or any of several SCS peeps) can set your sag and rebound. This is pretty straightforward. I'd check out Sport Rider for their suggested compression setting and use that as a baseline. Sport Bike Motorcycle Suspension Settings - Sportbike Review - Sport Rider If your just have to have a pro set your bike up, hit up one of the trackdays when a vendor like Racetech, Catalyst Suspension, or Traxxion Dynamics is present and have them set it up.

Thanks Eric...I just didn't want to bug you guys with it is all. ![]() I know we've done it at previous tech days before. I've never had a problem having the sag set and such. It's just the rebound & compression settings I'm wary about...the pushing of the seat and watching the rear end rise and such. I remember going to the Mars event out at LV Dyno when Lee Parks was there and they showed people how to set it and it seemed easy then, when a pro is doing it. But when you go and do it yourself, then it's like...wait, did it rise too fast or too slow or ??? LOL So, that's why I figure that if I have a pro do it, then that's what he/she gets paid for and it should be right. LOL Of course I'd rather have it right and not pay the money because I don't really have it, but what can you do? ![]() But since the bike is new to me, I need to set it up first thing and can't really wait for a tech days or something to roll around. Plus, I knew how I used to set up a bike when I weighed so much...almost everything was friggin' maxed out. Well, now that I'm actually at a decent weight, I don't know where to start with settings, besides stock. LOL!But I definitely appreciate the links. I'm going to check them out and go from there.

Thanks Vegasbiker...he was one of the ones on the list. LV Dyno Tech was the only one I remembered because of the Mars event we did out there a year or so ago when Lee Parks was there.
