Stacy - He is actually a pretty cool guy to talk to. I spoke to him in 2005 when I was shooting the AMA Superbikes at CA Speedway (or Auto Club Speedway or whatever it's called now). I was surprised because most people, when they get up to that premium type level can be azzholes when talking to "normal" people. However, he wasn't like that. And I was talking to him on the frickin' grid before his race! He started the conversation with me first actually and it shocked the crap out of me. LOL I was trying to be mindful and not bug him while I was taking his shot for the pre-race and he proceeded to ask me who I was shooting for and how long I was in the business and if I rode and such.

So, definitely cool to see a good write up on him.
