Howdy all!

I just had to post up and say that you gotta love the Shoei!!!!

I finally decided to retire my KBC Racer-1 helmet. It was just worn out and actually was too big for me now that I lost so much weight (87 pounds thus far). I had a Shoei RF-900 Phantom before and loved it, but since I had gone down in it twice, I had to retire it even though I didn't want to.

I bought the KBC because I needed a helmet for a trackday and just couldn't afford another Shoei at the time.

Anyway, I got a great deal on a RF-1000 Strife TC-1 and the chrome mirror Spectra shield and OMG do I LOOOOVE the airflow on this thing! It totally kills the airflow on my RF-900 and especially on my KBC Racer-1! I can actually feel the air hitting my head in this thing. Sooooo nice, even with the hot air here in Vegas! Plus, it looks awesome and matches the bike!

So, I definitely have to give kudos to Shoei for the work they did on the venting. If the RF-1100 is even better than the RF-1000, I'll look forward to eventually getting one of those.

Anyway, just was thrilled about it and thought I'd post up about it and show some pics!

Awesome!

Yep... I've got an RF-1000 and an X-11. They're great lids. If you like the airflow of the RF-1000, you've gotta try the X-11.

Ya, I'm definitely in love and I've only riden with it today. LOL Maybe I'll have to try an X-11 next time I need a helmet. :-D
